She’s turning 7 and she’s throwing two parties this month to celebrate! Always the extra girl PV has decided to queen out and milk our birthday over two parties in May. She is is Taurus after all!
First up we’re continuing our track record of fresh line ups from the queer underground were super excited to bring you the London debut of SPRKLBB to our favourite tiny sweatbox Spanners on 17th May ✨
SPRKLBB belongs to a category of vinyl selectors and technicians with few peers. A SPRKLBB set twists and turns seamlessly through the club music of yesterday, today, and tomorrow—with just the right amount of diva worship. He’s coming to London with one mission: to take you deep into the mix and turn your pussy out 💦
As you should know by now Spanner is tiny so get your tickets here now if you wanna come.
As if that wasn’t enough we’re back at our beloved Superstore on 30th May for another mega celebration. Leading the party downstairs is erstwhile Superstore employee Ambient Babe Station Meltdown! Fresh from recent releases on Optimo Music and Me Me Me, Ambient Babestation Meltdown will be bringing her trademark camp and chaotic mix of electroclash, italo, '00s tech house & '90s hardcore - it’s a party for your ears!
Joining her in the lazercave is Love Muscle founder and vinyl house DJ extraordinaire Michael Upson and DJ HURT, the B-side of drag artist Amber Hurt, for a set of bittersweet Electro rhythms and modern yet nostalgic synths.
Upstairs is South African queer scene hero Dan Lee, Hunnisuckle’s Frizzy D, and Superstore legend Ian the DJ, for a fun and camp soundtrack of Hi-NRG, Disco, R&B, Dancehall and the most popping of pop-edits.
The night will also feature a special performance from Human of Beijing queer collective Pharos and the hottest of Go-Go humans Than the Freak & Loren Dell’Arco.
Come pump some velvet!
